Trainers have a combined 35 years of education experience in Alaska. Experience includes being classroom teachers, English Language Learner teachers, building principal, district-wide instructional coach and district-level administrator.

Hi! I’m Christine Garbe.

After 32 years in education with the last 25 years in the Anchorage School District. Nearly 15 years as either a building level principal and as the Director of the English Language Learners Department supporting districtwide initiatives, eleven thousand English Language Learners speaking over 100 different languages. I retired in 2022 .

This experience, partnered with my passion and commitment to serving our multi-lingual learners, propelled me to found Fireweed Education Consulting, LLC.
